Description

A creamy and flavorful soup that combines the tastes of a classic cheeseburger with hearty vegetables and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot and sauté until softened.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and add the potatoes, carrots, and celery. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and milk until melted and creamy.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes

For a healthier version, use low-fat cheese and ground turkey instead of beef.
