- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and toss with cooked rotini pasta, or serve immediately.
Notes
This sauce pairs best with al dente rotini for a creamy texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
