- Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- Filling:
- 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust and spread evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the center is set.
- Allow to cool completely, then spread cherry pie filling over the top.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars and serving.
