Homemade chocolate truffles infused with orange zest, perfect for holiday celebrations.
Ingredients

- 200g dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Zest of 2 oranges
- 1 tablespoon orange liqueur (optional)
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder for coating
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until it just begins to simmer.
- Pour the hot cream over the chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl and let it sit for 2 minutes.
- Stir the mixture until smooth, then add the orange zest, orange liqueur, and a pinch of salt.
- Refrigerate the mixture for 2 hours or until firm.
- Scoop out teaspoon-sized portions and roll into balls.
- Roll the truffles in cocoa powder to coat.
- Chill the truffles for another 30 minutes before serving.
