Description

Fluffy and savory pancakes made with cheese and chives, perfect for a quick breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then fold in the cheese and chives.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and grease with butter or oil.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.

Notes

These pancakes are best served fresh. Add more chives for extra flavor.
