- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- For the waffles:
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, and melted butter.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in Fruity Pebbles.
- Preheat waffle iron and cook batter according to manufacturer's instructions until golden and crispy.
- For the fried chicken wings:
- Marinate chicken wing flats in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge marinated wings in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry wings for 10-12 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Serve waffles with fried wings on top or alongside.
