For the Crust:
- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- Season the steak cubes with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat and add the steak cubes. Cook until browned on all sides and cooked to desired doneness, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in the milk and shredded cheddar cheese until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce, stirring to combine. Gently fold in the steak bites.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
