For the Crust:

  • 1 pound cheese tortellini
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound Italian sausage, casing removed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet and sautรฉ for 1 minute. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, cooking until the sauce thickens slightly. Add the spinach and cook until wilted.
  4. Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly with the sauce and meat mixture.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
