For the Crust:
- 1 pound cheese tortellini
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound Italian sausage, casing removed
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet and sautรฉ for 1 minute. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, cooking until the sauce thickens slightly. Add the spinach and cook until wilted.
- Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly with the sauce and meat mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
