For the Crust:
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Prepare and bake the German chocolate cake according to the package instructions.
- Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and, while still warm, use a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake. Pour the caramel sauce evenly over the cake, allowing it to soak into the holes.
- Spread the shredded coconut and chopped pecans over the top of the cake. Let it cool completely before serving.
