Description

A decadent and moist German Chocolate Cake infused with rich, sweet caramel and topped with a luscious coconut pecan frosting.

For the Crust:

  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Prepare and bake the German chocolate cake according to the package instructions.
  2. Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and, while still warm, use a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake. Pour the caramel sauce evenly over the cake, allowing it to soak into the holes.
  3. Spread the shredded coconut and chopped pecans over the top of the cake. Let it cool completely before serving.
