Description

A festive twist on classic Rice Krispie treats with gingerbread flavors.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 10 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • Optional: 1/2 cup white chocolate chips for topping

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. Mix in the ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  4. Remove from heat and quickly stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
  5. Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  6. Let cool for 10 minutes, then cut into squares.
  7. Optional: Drizzle with melted white chocolate.
