For the Crust:
- 1 lb thinly sliced beef (such as sirloin or ribeye)
- 2 tbsp gochujang paste
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, whisk together gochujang paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and black pepper.
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for deeper flavor.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated beef in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until caramelized and cooked through. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
