For the Crust:
- 1 wheel of Brie cheese
- 1 large apple, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
- Melt butter in a pan over medium heat, add apple slices, brown sugar, and thyme, and cook until apples are caramelized, about 8 minutes.
- Place the brie on the center of the puff pastry, top with the caramelized apple mixture, fold the pastry edges over the cheese, and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
