Description

A flavorful chicken dish featuring golden garlic butter sauce, served with creamy Parmesan linguine for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, thyme, and oregano.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add garlic; cook until fragrant.
  3. Add seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, pour in chicken broth and heavy cream; stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens.
  7. Meanwhile, cook linguine according to package instructions; drain and add to the sauce.
  8. Toss the pasta in the sauce until well coated.
  9. Slice the cooked chicken and place on top of the pasta.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
