Description

Decadent bars featuring layers of gooey caramel, rich chocolate, and a crunchy texture for a perfect dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 2 cups rice krispies cereal
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butter together, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  3. Stir in the caramel sauce until fully combined.
  4. Mix in the rice krispies cereal and graham cracker crumbs until evenly coated.
  5. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared pan.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
  7. Cut into bars and serve.

Notes

For extra crunch, add chopped nuts. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
