- 4 large eggs

Instructions
- Spray the inside of your crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared crockpot and spread evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 1.5-2 hours, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly soft (do not overcook).
- Turn off the crockpot and let the brownies cool in the pot for 30 minutes before serving. Cut into squares and enjoy!
