Description

Delicious muffins packed with gooey Snickers and rich chocolate for a decadent treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 Snickers bars, chopped into pieces
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the sugar, eggs, oil, buttermilk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped Snickers bars and chocolate chips.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  7. Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For extra gooeyness, press additional Snickers pieces on top before baking. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
