- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 Snickers bars, chopped into pieces
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the sugar, eggs, oil, buttermilk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped Snickers bars and chocolate chips.
- Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra gooeyness, press additional Snickers pieces on top before baking. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
