Description
A classic beef stroganoff recipe featuring tender beef strips in a creamy sauce.
Ingredients

- 500g beef fillet, cut into strips
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 200g mushrooms, sliced
- 150ml beef stock
- 100ml sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over high heat.
- Add the beef strips and sear until browned, then remove from the pan.
- In the same pan, add the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Add the mushrooms and cook until they release their juices.
- Pour in the beef stock and simmer for a few minutes.
- Stir in the sour cream and Dijon mustard, then return the beef to the pan.
- Season with salt and pepper, and simmer gently until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve with rice or pasta for a complete meal.
