Description
Tender chicken smothered in green chile sauce, wrapped in burritos and topped with melted cheese for a comforting meal.
Ingredients

- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 (4 oz) can diced green chiles
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup enchilada sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, green chiles, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Lay out tortillas and divide the chicken mixture evenly among them.
- Sprinkle cheese on top of the chicken mixture in each tortilla.
- Fold the tortillas into burritos and place them seam-side down in a baking dish.
- Pour enchilada sauce over the burritos and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
- Top with sour cream if desired.
Notes
For a spicier version, use hot green chiles. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
