- 8 tostada shells
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- Optional: Sour cream and guacamole
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain excess fat, then add chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Assemble tostadas by spreading beef mixture on each shell.
- Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
- Serve immediately, optionally with sour cream and guacamole.
Notes
For a spicier version, add jalapenos or hot sauce.
