Description

Crispy tostadas topped with flavorful ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese for a quick and delicious meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 tostada shells
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • Optional: Sour cream and guacamole

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Drain excess fat, then add chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. Assemble tostadas by spreading beef mixture on each shell.
  4. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
  5. Serve immediately, optionally with sour cream and guacamole.

Notes

For a spicier version, add jalapenos or hot sauce.
