- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Optional: Heart-shaped cookie cutter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, sift together cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool, then use a heart-shaped cutter to shape the brownies.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark cocoa powder. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
