- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 cups whipped topping
- 1 package chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 box chocolate wafer cookies, crushed
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar and cocoa powder; mix well.
- Fold in whipped topping.
- In another bowl, prepare chocolate pudding with milk according to package instructions.
- In a trifle dish, layer crushed cookies, cheesecake mixture, pudding, and mini chocolate chips.
- Repeat layers until dish is full.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips. Garnish with fresh berries if desired.
