A decadent chocolate and peanut butter cake that’s irresistibly gooey and rich.
Ingredients

- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 package cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the chocolate cake mix, 1 egg, and melted butter until combined; press into the bottom of the pan.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add peanut butter, powdered sugar, remaining eggs, and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Pour the peanut butter mixture over the cake layer and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is gooey.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
For a fudgier texture, do not overbake. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
