- 1 cup heavy cream for frosting
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar for frosting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add flour and milk, alternating between the two.
- Divide batter into three portions: leave one plain, mix cocoa into the second, and strawberry puree into the third.
- Layer the batters into the cupcake liners: start with vanilla, then chocolate, then strawberry.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While cooling, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form for frosting.
- Frost the cooled cupcakes and serve.
Notes
