Description

A creamy pasta dish featuring ground beef for a high-protein meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz whole wheat pasta
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup spinach leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sautรฉ until softened.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  4. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Reduce heat and mix in Greek yogurt and spinach leaves until creamy and spinach wilts.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy your high-protein meal.

Notes

For extra protein, add more beef or top with cheese. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
