Description

These exquisite truffles combine the sweetness of honey with the floral notes of lavender, enrobed in creamy white chocolate for a luxurious treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces high-quality white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon dried lavender buds
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Additional white chocolate for coating, melted

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the honey, lavender buds, vanilla extract, and salt. Let it steep for 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the mixture to remove the lavender buds, then return to the saucepan.
  4. Add the chopped white chocolate and stir until fully melted and smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture into a bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.
  6. Once firm, use a spoon to scoop out portions and roll into balls.
  7. Dip each ball into the melted white chocolate for coating, then place on a parchment-lined sheet.
  8. Refrigerate again for 30 minutes until set.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh lavender if available. Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
