- 2 pounds boneless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- For Mac Cheese:
- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken: In a bowl, mix honey, black pepper, red pepper flakes, soy sauce, and garlic. Add chicken and marinate for 30 minutes.
- Cook the chicken: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Prepare the mac cheese: Boil macaroni according to package instructions. In a separate pan, melt butter, add milk and cheese, stir until creamy. Mix in mustard powder and cooked macaroni.
- Combine and serve: Plate the chicken with mac cheese on the side. Garnish as desired.
Notes
For extra spice, add more red pepper flakes. Best served fresh and hot.
