Description

Easy homemade treats made with creamy peanut butter, chocolate, and a few simple ingredients for a decadent dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the peanut butter and softened butter together until smooth.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and vegetable oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  5. Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, coating evenly, and return to the baking sheet.
  6. Refrigerate the truffles for at least 1 hour until set.

Notes

These truffles can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. For a nut-free version, substitute with sunflower seed butter.
