Description

A richly decadent brownie cake topped with marshmallows, nuts, and chocolate chunks for a delightful treat.

For the Crust:

  • 200g unsalted butter
  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 250g caster sugar
  • 100g plain flour
  • 50g cocoa powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 100g mini marshmallows
  • 75g mixed nuts, roughly chopped
  • 75g chocolate chunks

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ยฐC (350ยฐF) and line a 20×20 cm baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and dark chocolate over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar.
  3. Add flour, cocoa powder, and eggs, whisking until the batter is smooth. Pour into the prepared baking tray.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges look set. Remove from oven and scatter marshmallows, nuts, and chocolate chunks on top.
  5. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes or until the marshmallows are golden. Allow to cool before slicing.
