Description

This spicy ramen features jalapeño cheddar sausage and shrimp for a flavorful, hearty meal with a kick of heat.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz ramen noodles
  • 4 oz spicy jalapeño cheddar sausage, sliced
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook ramen noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
  3. Add sliced jalapeño cheddar sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic and sliced jalapeño; sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Stir in shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and soy sauce; bring to a simmer.
  7. Add the cooked ramen noodles to the skillet and stir to combine.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

Notes

For extra spice, add more jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce. Ensure shrimp is fully cooked to avoid food safety issues.
