- 8 oz ramen noodles
- 4 oz spicy jalapeño cheddar sausage, sliced
- 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 jalapeño pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook ramen noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add sliced jalapeño cheddar sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and sliced jalapeño; sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth and soy sauce; bring to a simmer.
- Add the cooked ramen noodles to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
For extra spice, add more jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce. Ensure shrimp is fully cooked to avoid food safety issues.
