Description

A spicy Jamaican-inspired salmon dish with bold flavors.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb salmon fillet
  • 2 tbsp jerk seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • Optional: Lime wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix jerk seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Rub the seasoning mixture onto the salmon fillet.
  4. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe pan over medium heat.
  5. Sear the salmon for 2 minutes on each side.
  6. Transfer the pan to the oven and bake for 10 minutes or until cooked through.
  7. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra heat, add fresh chili peppers to the seasoning. Serve with rice and vegetables.
