A refreshing and layered dessert, combining the tangy flavor of key lime pie with the delightful creaminess of a trifle.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup key lime juice
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Zest of 2 limes
  • Key lime slices for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, mix the key lime juice, sweetened condensed milk, and lime zest until well combined.
  2. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  3. In a trifle dish or individual glasses, layer the crushed graham crackers, followed by the lime mixture, and topped with whipped cream. Repeat layers as desired.
  4. Garnish with sliced key lime and additional lime zest.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
