- 500g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to make the marinade.
- Add the sliced beef to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the beef for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
- Layer the cooked rice in a bowl, top with grilled beef, carrot, cucumber, green onions, and sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately for the best flavor.
Notes
For a spicier version, add gochujang to the marinade. Ensure beef is sliced thinly for quick cooking.
