Description

A quick and easy twist on chicken Parmesan turned into a grilled cheese sandwich for the ultimate comfort food experience.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 cooked chicken breast, sliced
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Butter for grilling
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  2. On the non-buttered side of one slice, spread marinara sauce.
  3. Layer the chicken slices on top of the sauce.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the chicken.
  5. Top with the second bread slice, buttered side out.
  6. Grill in a pan over medium heat until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy.

Notes

For a crispier version, use thicker bread slices. Pair with a side salad for a balanced meal.
