Ingredients

- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large lettuce leaves for wrapping
- 1 avocado, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix lemon juice, chopped basil, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the salmon fillets with the lemon-basil mixture and let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Place the salmon on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Slice the salmon into thin strips.
- Lay out the lettuce leaves and fill each with salmon strips, avocado slices, and additional basil if desired.
- Roll up the leaves tightly and secure with toothpicks if needed. Serve immediately.
