Description

Fresh salmon rolls infused with zesty lemon and aromatic basil, perfect for a light and healthy meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large lettuce leaves for wrapping
  • 1 avocado, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix lemon juice, chopped basil, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the salmon fillets with the lemon-basil mixture and let marinate for 10 minutes.
  4. Place the salmon on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Slice the salmon into thin strips.
  6. Lay out the lettuce leaves and fill each with salmon strips, avocado slices, and additional basil if desired.
  7. Roll up the leaves tightly and secure with toothpicks if needed. Serve immediately.
