For the Crust:
- 8 oz bowtie pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Zest and juice of 2 lemons
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken slices and cook until browned.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sautรฉ for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, and heavy cream. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
