Description

A decadent and shareable platter of crispy fries topped with juicy steak bites, succulent shrimp, melted cheese, and all your favorite fixings.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb (500g) frozen steak-cut french fries
  • 8 oz (225g) sirloin steak, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 8 oz (225g) raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven and bake the french fries according to package directions until golden and crispy.
  2. While fries bake, season steak cubes and shrimp with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak cubes for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, cook the shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from heat.
  5. Spread the hot, cooked fries in an oven-safe skillet or serving platter. Top evenly with the cooked steak and shrimp.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over everything. Place under a broiler for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with crumbled bacon, dollops of sour cream, and a sprinkle of fresh chives and parsley. Serve immediately.
