For the Crust:
- 1 lb (500g) frozen steak-cut french fries
- 8 oz (225g) sirloin steak, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 8 oz (225g) raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven and bake the french fries according to package directions until golden and crispy.
- While fries bake, season steak cubes and shrimp with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak cubes for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook the shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from heat.
- Spread the hot, cooked fries in an oven-safe skillet or serving platter. Top evenly with the cooked steak and shrimp.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over everything. Place under a broiler for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with crumbled bacon, dollops of sour cream, and a sprinkle of fresh chives and parsley. Serve immediately.
