Description

A low-carb twist on the classic cheeseburger, featuring ground beef, bacon, and cheese baked into a casserole.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Chopped onions or pickles for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the beef.
  4. Spread the cooked beef evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese over the beef layer.
  6. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until well combined.
  7. Pour the egg mixture over the beef and cheese layers.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Add optional toppings if desired.
