Description

Tender chicken breasts stuffed with creamy brie and fresh apple slices, then glazed with a sweet and tangy maple mustard sauce for a flavorful dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 ounces brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 large apple, cored and thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Butterfly each chicken breast by slicing horizontally, but not all the way through, and open like a book.
  3. Stuff each chicken breast with slices of brie and apple.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup and Dijon mustard.
  5. Brush the chicken breasts with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and place in a baking dish.
  6. Brush the maple mustard glaze over the stuffed chicken breasts.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving, garnished with fresh thyme.

Notes

For a crispier glaze, broil the chicken for the last 2 minutes. Pair with roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
