Description

A delicious sweet and crunchy popcorn treat made with marshmallows and caramel.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 cups popped popcorn
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
  2. Place popcorn in a large bowl.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  4. Boil without stirring 4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda.
  5. Pour over popcorn and marshmallows; toss to coat.
  6. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
  7. Cool on waxed paper.

Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
