Description

Festive cheesecake bars with a cherry topping, perfect for holiday celebrations, featuring a creamy filling and buttery crust.


Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Filling:
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. For the crust: Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool slightly.
  4. For the filling: Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  5. Pour the filling over the crust and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set. Let cool completely.
  7. Top with cherry pie filling and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. For a festive touch, add sprinkles on top.
