For the Crust:

  • 1 lb skirt steak
  • 8 tostada shells
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Season the skirt steak with salt, pepper, and your choice of spices, then grill to desired doneness. Let rest before slicing thinly.
  2. Heat the refried beans until warm, then spread a layer on each tostada shell.
  3. Top each tostada with sliced carne asada, shredded lettuce, and diced tomatoes. Serve with your favorite salsa.
