Description

A hearty casserole featuring layers of ravioli, ground beef, cheese, and marinara sauce for an easy family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
  • 1 package (25 ounces) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain fat and stir in marinara sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce in the baking dish.
  4. Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce, then add half of the remaining sauce and sprinkle with half of the cheeses.
  5. Repeat layers with the remaining ravioli, sauce, and cheeses.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with plant-based crumbles.
