Description

A creamy and cheesy ravioli casserole that’s easy to make and perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce, then dollop with half of the ricotta cheese and sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, ricotta, and cheeses, ending with the remaining meat sauce on top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes; remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute the ground beef with mushrooms or spinach. This casserole can be assembled ahead and refrigerated overnight before baking.
