Description

A delicious and moist marble cake swirled with vanilla and chocolate, then drizzled with rich chocolate glaze.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • For the chocolate drizzle: 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
  6. Divide the batter into two bowls. Stir cocoa powder into one bowl to create chocolate batter.
  7. Alternate spoonfuls of vanilla and chocolate batter into the prepared pan to create a marble effect.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool.
  9. For the drizzle: Melt chocolate chips and cream in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled cake.
