Description

A creamy pasta dish featuring ground beef, rigatoni pasta, mozzarella cheese, and a garlic herb cream sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 ounces rigatoni pasta
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in heavy cream, fresh basil, fresh oregano, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, cook rigatoni pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  5. Add the cooked rigatoni to the skillet with the beef sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top and stir until melted and creamy.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with extra herbs if desired.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce. Ensure pasta is al dente for the best texture.
