Description

A decadent breakfast casserole featuring Nutella-stuffed French toast baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French bread, cubed
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Spread Nutella on half of the bread cubes and layer them in the baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread cubes.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  6. Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes until golden and set.
  7. Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

This casserole is best served warm and can be topped with fresh berries or whipped cream for extra flavor.
