Description

A classic appetizer featuring crab mixed with cheese and spread on English muffins, then broiled to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (6 ounce) can crab meat, drained
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 English muffins, split

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven's broiler.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the crab meat, shredded Cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly on the cut sides of the English muffins.
  4. Place the muffins on a baking sheet and broil in the preheated oven for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  5. Cut into quarters and serve warm.

Notes

For a spicier version, add a dash of hot sauce to the crab mixture. These are best served fresh and hot.
