A vibrant jam combining the sweetness of oranges with the heat of jalapeños, perfect for spreading on toast or glazing meats.
Ingredients

- 4 cups fresh oranges, peeled and chopped
- 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 packet pectin
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine chopped oranges, jalapeños, sugar, and lemon juice.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Add pectin and continue boiling for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and skim off any foam.
- Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
Notes
For a milder jam, remove the seeds from the jalapeños. Store in a cool, dark place for up to 6 months.
