Description

Crispy oven-baked taquitos filled with seasoned beef, perfect for a quick and tasty meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add onion, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper; cook until onion is soft.
  3. Warm tortillas in the microwave for 20-30 seconds to make them pliable.
  4. Spoon the beef mixture onto each tortilla, add cheese, and roll tightly.
  5. Place taquitos seam-side down on the baking sheet, spray with cooking spray, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For a healthier option, use ground turkey instead of beef.
