Description

These no-bake pecan pie balls are a simple, delicious treat that mimics the flavors of pecan pie without any baking required.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate for coating

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, pulse the pecans until finely chopped.
  2. Add the dates, graham cracker crumbs, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt to the food processor.
  3. Process until the mixture is well combined and sticky.
  4. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. If desired, dip the balls in melted chocolate and let them set on a baking sheet.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

These balls can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For a nut-free version, substitute pecans with seeds.
